Bodegas Javier Sanz

Located in Ruedo, Bodegas Javier Sanz was established in 1990, although the Sanz family has been tending vines in the region for over 150 years across five generations. Working with pre-phylloxera vineyards, one of which dates to 1863, Javier Sanz focuses on the traditional varieties from the region, specialising in Verdejo. Winemaking is all about allowing the latent qualities of the varieties to shine, with some ageing on fine lees and gentle barrel fermentation used.
