Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite

Baron James de Rothschild bought Lafite in 1868 with his children following in his footsteps with 6 generations now having been involved in Bordeaux wine. From the mid-20th century, other properties in Bordeaux and around the globe were added to create the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (DBR) Lafite which oversees the making and commercialising of all of their wines. The Legend series was created in 1999 to embody the appellation from which it came. The Pauillac comes in part from Lafite itself as well as from Duhart-Milon and other selected estates.
