Chateau Minuty
Acquired by the Farnet family in 1936, Minuty was one of 23 estates to be granted cru classé status in 1955. Run by the fourth generation of the family and with an internationally known brand, Minuty was sold to LVMH in 2023. This very large (by provencal standards) estate comprises of 65 hectares of vines in a single block on the St Tropez peninsula, along with a further 120 hectares in inland Vidauban and 15 hectares in Ramatuelle. Alongside their own vineyards, they also blend significant volumes of branded wines from purchased fruit and wine. The estate wines are made in a new winery built in 2009 whilst the Minuty branded wines are produced in a facility built in Brignoles in 2008 and are one of the few global rivals to Caves d’Esclans, also now owned by LVMH.
