Chateau Larmande
Château Larmande is one of the oldest properties in Saint-Émilion, with the town’s archives recording its existence from 1585. Their vineyards cover 20 hectares in one unbroken stretch along the northern slope of Saint-Émilion, one mile from the village itself, planted to 65% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon on clay and limestone soils. From this HVE certified vineyard, they produce one wine, vinified in stainless steel then aged in a combination of French oak barrels and terra cotta amphorae for 14 to 18 months.
