Champagne Georges Vesselle
The Vesselle family have been cultivating the land around Bouzy since the 16th century, though the Georges Vesselle Champagne house only came into being 50 years ago. Located between Reims and Epernay, the family’s vineyard holdings amount to around 18 hectares planted to 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, all classified Grand Cru, from which all the domaine’s wines are made. The resulting style is full-bodied and rich, yet with the elegance once would expect from such auspicious terroir. Run by Eric and Bruno Vesselle, they are now into the fourth generation with Eric’s son Camille joining the business in late 2024.
