Chateau Barde-Haut

Comprising 17 hectares of prime Saint-Émilion Grand Cru terroir, Château Barde-Haut’s vineyards form an almost-perfect south-facing amphitheater, with a limestone base and a robust layer of clay on top. Such an arrangement allows for balanced water storage, meaning the vines suffer just the right amount, allowing them to produce rich, concentrated fruit that characterises the best wines of Saint-Émilion’s limestone plateau. The vineyards are HVE certified, with grapes hand harvested and vinification taking place in concrete and stainless steel, and maturation for between 18–24 months in French oak.
