Domaine de la Chapelle

This Chinon estate was purchased in 2022 by Laurent Dumas and renamed Domaine de la Chapelle, after it existed for 40 years under their previous name Domaine Jourdan. Their 17-hectare site of mostly Cabernet Franc (with a small amount of Chenin Blanc) has been farmed organically since 2008 and Demeter certified biodynamic since 2016. The winemaking is now overseen by the talented Audrey Braccini, former manager of Domaine Ferret in Pouilly-Fuissé. Their ambition is to gradually become one of the benchmark producers of Chinon.
