Paitin

The Paitin estate was founded in 1796 when Benedetto Elia purchased just 2 hectares of vineyard in Bricco di Neive and began planting Nebbiolo and Barbera.IN the 230 following years the Elia family have remained committed to producing high quality wines through various disasters, including two world wars through which the family continued to produce wine and Phylloxera that meant a complete replanting in 1948. Currently in the eight generation, Paitin is run by Giovanni Pasquero Elia with his son Luca. One of their most lasting legacies is the creation of Serraboella’s greatest MGA ‘Sori Paitin’.
